Yesterday, I arrived from Singapore to Ho Chin Ming, Vietnam. I have a contact in Vietnam and so a local received me and took me to his house and to eat some typical food, he told me some scary stories about how unsafe Ho Chin Ming has been these days, and I got a little bit nervous, I don't want to loose my camera, haha!
Today, I flew from Ho Chin Ming, the capital of Vietnam, to Hanoi, I'm staying in the heart of the city, "near the lake". The food is different, the whether is around 16° C. Walking around the city is quite fun, there is a sea of motorcycles, and so you have to make sure they won't hit you or you won't hit them.
Hanoi is in the north of Vietnam, its size is relatively big but it does not seem to be as dangerous as Ho Chi Ming. Shopping is fun, you go from one store to the other and bargain to get the price you want. I also visited the water puppet show, and learn a lot about Vietnam history.
Food... Vietnamese cuisine is different from other countries in Asia, the Pho and their spring rolls are light and delicious
